キリスト教では、クリスマスと同じように大切なお祭りがあります。それがイースターといってキリストの復活をお祝いする【復活祭】です。聖書のお話では、イエス・キリストは十字架にかかる前に私たちの罪のために一週間、首都であるエルサレムに入られ、苦しみを受けたと言われています。この一週間をキリスト教では「受難週」といいます。キリストが「苦難と受けられる週」という意味です。

シャロームハウスでは、エルサレムでのキリストの一週間を覚えて、8つのアート作品を展示しています。この一つ一つを鑑賞しつつ、キリストの受難を覚えます。

月曜日（１４日）から水曜日（１６日）、そして金曜日（１８日）の夜6時から夜9時まで自由にシャロームハウスへお越しください。全ての展示をゆっくり回っても20−30分で回れます。

In Christianity, there is an important celebration just like Christmas. It is called Easter, which celebrates the resurrection of Christ.

According to the Bible, before Jesus Christ was crucified, He entered the capital city of Jerusalem and endured suffering for a week for our sins. This week is called Holy Week in Christianity.

At Shalom House, we are commemorating Christ’s final week in Jerusalem by displaying eight pieces of artwork. As you view each piece, you can reflect on the Passion of Christ.

You are welcome to visit Shalom House freely from Monday (14th) to Wednesday (16th), and on Friday (18th) from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It takes about 20–30 minutes to walk through all the exhibits at a leisurely pace.
